Dawn-breakers Toastmasters Club

Club Spotlight – Each month we recognize a club for outstanding accomplishments in helping it’s members achieve their goals, in marketing the club, in member growth and sustainability.

Dawn Breakers Club has sustained a Gavel Club for over 15 years, is in the top 5 of clubs with new members and member renewals. They have 9 goals met towards President’s Distinguished status. 

The Beulah Rising Stars Gavel Club is the home of 13 Competent Communicators and 1 Advanced Communicator Bronze.  Additionally, the Club encourages their members to be entrepreneurs, authors and community activists.

Dawn-Breakers Toastmasters (DBTM), Club #2771, District #14, Division- C, Area 31 was chartered in October 1995.  Dawn-Breakers Toastmasters embodies the Toastmasters International purpose which is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. The club’s success is based on a high level of communication, professionalism, knowledge and hard work.  Club efforts are focused on providing professionally organized, engaging and fun meetings with variety.  More importantly, DBTM encourages and celebrates members’ achievements and promotes personal and professional growth, by motivating and supporting members to achieve their goals. 

Dawn-Breakers Toastmaster has approximately 50 member which include 13 Distinguished Toastmaster (DTMs). The club has achieved President’s Distinguished status for over 20 years. In addition, since its charter the club has received the following notable awards; TheSmedley Award, Talk Up Toastmasters Award and Beat the Clock Award. The comradery amongst DBTM’s membership is the clubs most notable attribute. Members of Dawn-Breakers Toastmasters establish rapports that last for years which fosters club growth within a nurturing environment.The club also sponsors the Beulah Rising Stars Gavel Club, which supports and motivates young toastmasters ages 6-17 to achieve their goals.  

Dawn-Breakers Toastmasters Club is open to the public and meetings are held each Saturday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A. M. in the Beulah Family Life Center at 2340 Clifton Springs Rd. in Decatur, Ga. Meetings are normally not held on holidays or during a holiday weekend. For more information please visit https://2771.toastmastersclubs.org or contact the club President, Natasha P.
