District 14 is happy to announce the President’s Distinguished District Partner Award Year 3!

It is easy! How to receive the award?

Club Treasurers—ask at least 8 club members to pay for a full year (which means dues are paid by a member from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018) and your club will automatically receive a President’s Distinguished District (PDD) Partner Award from District 14.

Wait, there’s more!

If more than 8 club members pay for a full year, your club may be eligible for a special incentive from the District in addition to the PDD Partner award. The club with the highest number of paid members for a full year will receive a SPECIAL AWARD from the District.

PROGRAM QUALITY INCENTIVES

PROGRAM QUALITY DIRECTOR'S INCENTIVES

1) Clubs that earn Goals 2, 4, 6 and 9 by April 15, 2018, will receive a $25 TI Gift Certificate at the Conference

2) Clubs with All 7 Club Officers trained in one session during the Summer or Winter TLI will receive a $10 TI Gift Certificate and the Officers will be entered into a drawing for a free ticket to the Conference.

3) Clubs with All 7 Officers trained in one session in both the Summer and Winter TLI sessions with receive an additional $25 TI Gift Certificate and entered again into the drawing for a free ticket to the Conference.

4) New Clubs that Charter between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018, will receive a Waiver of the TLI Club Officer fees for either the Summer or Winter session.

5) Clubs that become Distinguished or better by April 15, 2018, will receive an Early Achiever Award at the Conference.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

  • Any member who achieves 3 different educational awards by April 15, 2018, will receive a Triple Crown Pin at the Conference

  • Any member who achieves 5 or more educational awards will receive a Super Achiever Award at the Conference

CLUB GROWTH INCENTIVES

CLUB GROWTH INCENTIVES

1) Club with the best membership retention by April 15, 2018, gets a $50 TI gift certificate. Second place winner gets a $25 TI gift certificate.

2) Club with the most net new growth by April 15, 2018, gets a $100 TI gift certificate. Second place winner gets a $50 TI gift certificate.

3) Any new club that charters with than more than 20 members will be entered into a drawing for a free conference registration.

4) Division with the most newly chartered clubs will receive special honors at the Annual Conference in the Spring

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

  • Member who submits the most leads that actually become a chartered club will receive a free conference registration

  • Special gift for the Toastmaster who brings in the most new members (sponsor a new member), does not include chartered members

  • The VP Membership with the most creative membership campaign will be recognized at the Annual 

  • Each newly Chartered Club will receive a club banner, bag and stand from the District at Conference in the Spring

Brand Photo Contest

Contest Dates: July 2017 - December 31, 2017
Awarded Monthly!

Your efforts to incorporate Toastmasters branded-materials into your meeting and promotion materials is greatly appreciated! However, if your club doesn’t have thec funds to purhase branded materials, help is on the way! Enter the Toastmasters monthly photo contest and give your club a chance to win a branded banner, lectern or marketing materials. The contest runs now through December 31, 2017.

Winning Clubs
Each month, the top 10 club photos will be entered into a drawing. One club will be selected to win branded materials (e.g., banner, lectern) valued at $100, plus shipping. The winning club will be featured on Toastmasters social media platforms and website.

How to Enter
Take a photo of your club members showing their excitement for the Toastmasters brand! (e.g. wearing Toastmasters branded items, participating in a club meeting, etc.) Please email a picture of your club’s photo to brand@toastmasters.org.

Membership Contest

Smedley Award

Program Dates: August 1 – September 30

Can your club add five new, dual, or reinstated members with a join date between August 1 and September 30? Accomplish this goal and you’ll qualify to receive a "Smedley Award" ribbon, named in honor of Ralph Smedley, which you can display on your club’s banner. Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)

Applications and payments for members with a join date between August 1 and September 30 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than September 30. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count toward “Smedley Award” credit.

The winning clubs will be revealed online within a few weeks of the submission deadline. Winning clubs should allow up to 10 business days to receive their award if they are located in the United States, and up to 21 business days if they are outside of the United States.

 

Talk Up Toastmasters

Program Dates: February 1 – March 31

Toastmasters love to connect, so take advantage of it. The "Talk Up Toastmasters" membership program is the chance to encourage your members to invite guests to a special meeting where prospective members can learn about Toastmasters' many benefits. Then add five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between February 1 and March 31, and you’ll receive a special "Talk up Toastmasters" ribbon to display on your club’s banner. Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)

Applications and payments for members with a join date between February 1 and March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count towards “Talk Up Toastmasters”

Beat the Clock

Program Dates: May 1 – June 30

Toastmasters are taught to run meetings on time, finish speeches on time and reach membership goals on time. In that spirit, "Beat the Clock" is a great motivator for finishing the year on schedule—on time and with record numbers!  Make it your club’s goal to earn the "Beat the Clock" award and encourage every member to take part. Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 receive a "Beat the Clock" ribbon to display on the club’s banner. Qualifying clubs also earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)
